Here’s some inspiration to get you pumped up and excited about planning your next kayaking adventure.

Many paddlers only dream of taking a trip like this one. Philip Tschersich loaded up his kayak and hit the water for an 11-day, 250-mile solo paddle from Kodiak, Alaska to Homer, Alaska.

According to Philip, the crux of the trip was during two separate 25-mile open water crossings. Not an easy feat considering the notoriously rough Alaskan waters and cooler temperatures.

The weather for his trip looked absolutely amazing and the amount of wildlife Philip crossed paths with is incredible.

An epic trip all around!
